Red Barn Mercantile Welcomes Fishs Eddy

Hello all!

Every time I go to New York I have two shopping destinations that are a must – ABC Carpet & Home and Fishs Eddy.? (Thankfully, they are virtually next door to one another so I can squeeze them both in easily)? For me, these two places are quintessential New York.? ABC Carpet & Home has it all – uptown to?downtown,?Little Italy, the?Village, Chinatown and the Harlem Renaissance are all represented in one?wonderfully eclectic store.? It is New York City in a nutshell – albeit a very big one.

The wares are at once simple and sturdy in their construction and?as colorful as the residents of all five borroughs.??? These dishes are fun and fabulous, making them perfect for any dinner table – or diner table.

I love Fishs Eddy so much that when I found out they sell to other retailers, I was literally giddy with delight.? We have patiently waited for the day that we could bring them to Old Town and that day arrived last week!? We are pleased to announce the arrival of Fishs Eddy dishes!? In all their colorful glory, they are here and we are the only ones in the area who has them.

?All last week, we were in a sea of ceramics.? Pulling out dishes and pricing them for four full days.? And on Friday, Preston made the most amazing display yet – I cannot claim any ownership to her Incredible?work of art, I mean?dishes, you have to come see it!?? You have to come see them and see the prices.? Both are truly unbelievable!

I hope you love these dishes as much as we do…

Take care,? Amy
