Art is a very personal expression and is often hard to find, frame and display just the right way. If this is a problem for you, then I invite you to join us for a free workshop led by Michele Ward, owner of Principle Gallery in Old Town Alexandria. During the 90-minute discussion, she will help you discover the skills you’ll need to pick art, get it framed and displayed properly.
You don’t have to be an art aficionado for this workshop. No criticism here. Only good information that anyone can use to beautify their walls and rooms.
7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.,
Tuesday, May 10.
Red Barn Mercantile,
113 S. Columbus St.,
in Old Town Alexandria.
Learn more about the ins and outs of art for any — and every — room in your house. Michele will answer your burning questions like:
- How do you choose art?
- What’s the best way to frame art?
- What are the rules of hanging art?
As always, we’ll munch on some snacks, sip a little wine and save plenty of time for Q&A. Hope to see you soon!
